Unfreaking believable when I'm making it for around 15 cents a round.

999.00 for 1000 rounds

I'm so glad I got into reloading and after 2008 I learned to stock up on primers and bullets, brass, powder before things went to hell again.

I never thought I'd see the day when 5.56 hit 1.00 a round.

I remember you could buy 1000 rounds for 229.00 and I thought that was stupid high.

I paid .47 cents per round for that same ammo at a local store on December 18th.

Something tells me it will get worse before it gets better.

Does anyone think that reloading components will sky rocket or pretty much stay the same?

Sky Rocket. It's only natural as regular ammo goes up and becomes non existent, then remanufactured replaces it.

When 5.56 is selling for a dollar per round it's too tempting to not get an ammo license and cash in.

Only problem is...can you find the components...

Both Academy's I went to today were bone dry.

You in Denton?

NRH and Fort Worth off of North Tarrant were empty.

No 9mm, .223, 30-30, 40 cal , some .45.....

I mean they were out of stock on a lot of things, including guns.

Nothing but shotguns for long guns. They had 1 PX4 Storm left....a few semi auto mostly .22's and a few revolvers.

Lots of shotgun shells.

Back in the early 70's we were getting 223 reloads for 100 per thousand and military ball ammo for 150 per thousand. I've still got a bunch of it left.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Well you may want to sell. Nothing like making 900%.
