Arrowhead Outfitters is Booking 2013 Bear huntsDates available still are August 22-26 August 27-31 Sept 26-30 We perform hunts with dogs in Units 34,36 and 37 in New Mexico Lincoln Forest. We have been 100% success past 3 years. Cost 1x1 $2,210.00 2x1 $1,935.00 Includes guiding and transportation, you provide lodging and food. Hunts are 5-Days. No, they dont allow baiting in New Mexico but they use hounds and tree them. Im the one in camo in bottom pic

When I hunted, WE started off in Capitan, then unit shut so we had to travel to Cloudcroft. So think depends what time you go and what Units are open.

im a newb. Whats the diff between 1x1 and 2x1, non-hunting guest? Also, does the total cost include the non-resident license?

One hunter, or two hunters. You need a general license, and a bear tag, along with 2 other stamps that you will see on the New Mexico park and wildlife site, and you will buy on your own terms. Im debating on going again for a second time to get a different color phase bear. This hunt is a blast. I suggested to anyone who wants to bear hunt and not have to travel to far from home.
