Been frustrating to say the least. Leading up to the season we were PUMPED! Tons of nice bucks on camera then about 2 weeks into rifle season it's like someone flipped a switch. Until this last weekend, the last buck I saw from the blind was Thanksgiving weekend. They are slowly starting to show back up on cameras I just hope it's not to late! We hunt Stephens County. Just feeling it out because I know a lot of posts this year have been about a frustrating year...anyone else seeing the possiblity of buck movement picking back up these last couple weeks???

KThompson, that pattern sounds farily indicative of a lot of counties within proximity to the metromess. I've hunted deer for 5 seasons in Young county and you can almost set your hunting watch that lots of deer in Oct., a few less in Nov. after rifle season begins and almost goes non-existent after Thanksgiving. Seems to be a small spike up again in mid-late Dec. probably aligned to the secondary rut.

Just a odd pattern for the lease I'm on though.
