After today's hunt, I started thinking about past hunts and multiple birds with one shot, or a bunch of birds with 3 shots!
Lets have some fun and hear your stories about multiple birds with one shot or lots of birds with 3 shots.
Here are a few of mine!
-When I was 13 years old, I snuck up on a flock of teal and killed 5 with one shot! I had to make my shots count because I was shooting a single shot 20 Gauge.
- A couple years ago a friend and I snuck up to a pond that had 200+ snow geese! This pond wasn't very big, but the birds some how managed to all get on the water. We killed 34 snows with 6 shots!
- When I was younger, my uncle and I would take out his scull boat up in northern California. We took off after a flock of mallards that were sunny themselves on the bank. I was laying down as he was oaring us towards the birds. Every few seconds my uncle would peek and make sure we were on track, and make sure the birds weren't getting wary. I was layig there, just waiting on him to say the special words. When we got in range, he said "cut em!" I popped up and to my advantage, they were all in a close group. I took 2 shots and dropped 5 of the birds!
Lets hear ya'lls stories

Me and a buddy hunted a lake one time and got skunked. We drove by a pond that was on WMA land and it was loaded. We jumped 'em and had our limit in about 2 mins. It only took a few shots at first, but a bunch of them were wounded. So we had to take a lot of finishing shots.

One shot one duck. If he is not hit hard I shoot the second shot at him. I hate having cripples.

11. 5 ducks and 6 coots. One shot. (Some were flushing some were not) Couple triples and several doubles with one shot.(On the wing)
But, I'd rather go one for one as Rob said. I hate crippling birds. The more you try hit with one shot the more likely you are to cripple and lose.

4 of us ditch crawled a flock of snows with 10 round extensions in co snow season Luckily everybody's guns hung up. 8 shots 160 snows. If we had gotten off all 40 shots it would have been ugly.

Ha! You've done this before haven't you. Usually 50+% are wing broken. A goose with one good wing can cover some ground. 5 seconds of shooting , 2 hrs running down cripples, 3 hrs cleaning vgeese. I have several friends that were all excited to go the first time that will not do it again. I lost 20 lbs in feb last yr chasing geese.

A few years back I was having a slow day and took a shot at some ringers swinging around the dekes. One shot and three hit the water, of course two still had a good bit of life so as I'm chasing them down in the canoe I helplesly watch as back in my decoys 2 seperate wood duck drakes and a greenhead land and swim around for a while. Figures...

Opening morning about 7 years ago I had two ducks come into the blocks. Fairly still morning, about 15 minutes after lst. They crossed just about three feet over the water coming in. Double head shot with one shell. Sheer luck.
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

Don't know that I have ever killed more than one duck per shot in my life time. I guess the wierdest thing I have ever done was kill a wood duck drake at less that 2 yards, skillet shot. I was behind some weeds and I guess he just didn't see me. He almost landed on me and I decapitated him with a load of #6's......That has probably been 35 years ago or longer.....

You don't need camo when you sneak up in the middle of the night and hit them while they sleep....with the ole' "punt" gun!

11 in 3 shots is my record
If you look back over your life are you fully satisfied you pleased the Maker of Creation. Are you fully assured that you have trusted in His Son, Jesus Christ, for your salvation. Are you confident that you have a definite hope of going to Heaven?

When I was market gunning I skulled my skiff up on a raft of prolly 300 Canvasbacks. When I slapped the trigger on my punt gun I had shot over 100 Canvasbacks. About wore out my dog on that one. Made a lot of money when I sold them all in Crissfield.
