Did anyone take a mule deer to one of the mandatory or voluntary check stations? How was it?

Saw one way east of the check area around Bakersfield. Did not stop since I did not have a deer and was not hunting in the zone of interest to them.

I wonder if TP&W will publish the results of what was found at the CWD check stations?

The results of tests so far are posted on TPWD's CWD page. All negative so far.

In far west texas near el paso, a case was reported. May have been on the stateline.
The drury boys I think it was just ran a show on CWD.
Pretty good show.
The scientist on it were trapping deer for testing.
They did some kind of mouth swab, did not have to kill the deer to test them.
