I just made the switch to Kent's #4's this year and so far I'm loving them. I haven't had a chance to try them on a goose thus far.

Those are great shells. I used to shoot them a lot, but I've switched to #6s the last few years. Since I hunt mostly private and the birds are in our face. When I hunt public, I'm back shooting number 4 Xperts

#3's...4's clumped out of my gun and 6's I found to many pellets in the breasts. 3's was a nice even pattern. I do like 6's for teal though.

Kent #4s will smack the helloutta geese. Folded up a few greater resident honkers last year with them.
Any of the #3or #4 faster (1500+ fps) loads pattern great in my gun using a cheap Carlson's extended steel mid range/modified choke.

Heave shot if u can afford them
After coupon they are 20 $ for 10 at cabelas not bad coming from 43$
If u only shoot 10 rounds, thats the way to go 3 inch 2 or bb

Switched from BC #4's to Hevi Metal #3's with no testing yet. We haven't been hunting yet either but may test after Christmas day and then start our season........Having two in college has really put the clamps on things around here but my wife is giving me and my son duck season for Christmas......

Blackcloud 3.5" #4 great patterns out of my Mossberg 935 with IMP CYL...

Expert 3" #2 1 1/8oz load at 1550fps and Federal cheapies 3" #3 1 1/4oz load going 1400fps. This will be my last year with the slower/heavier load. Next year will be back to Expert 3" #2 and #4's.

I'm surprised so many shoot 3.5" shells at some little ole ducks. Never know when some big ol honkers will drop in! I use xpert 3" 4's or 6's
I don't carry change, but I love breaking bills!
