That is so true. The pictures don't come close at all. It is just so awe inspiring to watch the lights moving in the sky.

This is more similar to how it actually looks right here. I had to change the settings in the software. I just got this camera, so I am still learning. Sorry about reposting the pictures.

I used to love to sit and watch the Northern lights. Worked up there for Veco Alaska and Arco Alaska for a long time. FOr those who have never had the chance to see these in person; you are missing the greatest event on earth. I promise you it takes your breathe away. Watch the lights and have a drink at the Midnight Sun and Surf Club. Priceless. Merry Christmas everyone.
