Here lately ammo has gun up and sold out. I'm having a hard time findin 223 brass even. Do y'all think its a scare ?

Tell me about it! This is the same thing that happened last time right before the assault weapons ban happened. People bought everything in stock. A little later, people were trying to sell the over stock stuff they bought. You;d think the sky was falling right now. After all, you won't need anything after tomorrow, anyway!

What is a fair price for .223? A buddy gave me 140 rounds of winchester .223 that are loose in a bag so not sure which ones but he said they were target loads. Found the bag today in the way in the safe so pulled them out. I dont have a need for .223 so figure i will sell them. Not talking rip off people but prices two weeks ago or trade em for something i can use like .40 sw. I have no idea what the value is. Looked at academy while i was there today but the shelves were empty so nothing to compare.
