I was not old enough to buy guns then was it this crazy in 94?

I have some magic beans if anyone is interested. No extra time hunting but they'll make you fart to the tune of Back In Black...

I was asking a guy at work that same thing this morning.

He said nothing like it is right now.

Everyone in DFW I've talked to said it is a total feeding frenzy at ALL the gun counters.

Oh it's bad I was only 12 at the time of the first Awb. I think girls where all I was interested in then.

It wasn't nearly this radical and wild then. Not even close.

The internet has exacerbated the problem.

I can tell you that there are A LOT more hi-cap mags out there now than there was then and no the craze wasnt like it is now. Even several years into the ban you could still buy mags at uninflated prices. Mag prices will come down fairly quickly even if new production is halted. There are millions and millions of them out there and the market will be flooded with them again pretty soon. Right now most people are buying for investment......not personal use.

I don't think it will be legal to sell 20 and 30 round mags.

The first ban is called the dark ages among AR enthusiats. Not a single real piece of legislation has passed in the internet age. Gun owners are good at rallying the troops.

I personally think the only thing likely to pass is the FTF sales "gunshow loophole".

Banning hi cap mags would be pointless, there is likely 50 million or more in circulation.

Alot of shift in past day or so has been to mental illness side of it and even video games.

My dad made a KILLING on AR and High Cap pistol mags when the first ban came down

When he heard about it, he bought over 300 mags total (over 200 pistol mags) and then flipped them at the height of the inflation at 10x what he paid.

It wasn't as crazy then because people didn't really believe it would pass. People believe it this time
