I have the maxus and a gold, i love my maxus, easiest gun to take apart and clean, snaps back together, reliable, light weight, low recoil, i like the coating on the forward grip. No problems

No contest....maxus. The only issue that would go against that rec is if you held and shot both and the silver just felt better.

Maxus

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

IMO, the new A5 is better than the Maxus.

I have both. Few thousand rounds through my silver, few hundred through my maxus. The silver so far is much smoother, but that may just be because it is fully broken in. It may also be because my maxus is rated for 3.5 inch shells and it also has the autoload where it will take the first shell in the "magazine" and pop it up into the chamber. From what I can tell, they are very similar guns.

Not all of the silvers will shoot 3.5. Depends on the model.
