looking for a 200+ yard shooting range around dallas texas..preferably north east of.... that will let you shoot 30 cal ammo. thx

Gibson Outpost in Mesquite has 200 yard range.
Top Gun in Leonard has a 500 yard range.
Both those ranges 30 cal is fine at.

Yes, Top Gun is off 78. It's going to be the only 200+ yard public range in Dallas. It goes out to 500. Take enough ammo to qualify to shoot at each distance.

Poetry Shooting Club has a range with targets at 100, 300 and 500 yards. Very elementary and it works Close to Dallas Walter, can you provide us more information on this place. I went to the website, but I didn't see anything there. I'd be interested in coming out to shoot rifle there. I need 100 and 300 yards for what I do. Thanks.

The rifle range is low key these days. It is elementary and works. Have targets at 100, 300 and 500 yards. Range is secondary use to day deer leasers, bird dog training and Quail hunts. When avaiable and it is usually avaiable and weekdays are best cost is $15.00 membership OR guest fee and $25.00 1st hour and $20 additional hours.
May sound higher than others and this is totally private and you will be the only user and able to shoot at your own speed. No 50 cals or rapid fire shooting.
