They are temporaily stopping Online sales, they are not totally stopping all gun sales. Let face it, they most likely can not keep up with the online sales demand right now and maintain their storefronts. They most likely could have worded it differently.

screw them. They are raping people right now anyways It's call supply and demand, it is the cornerstone of our free market system. If demand is high and people are willing to pay $60, then they are the fools and the business is genuis. If you don't like the price don't buy it, it's not raping it's the American way. In economics it is as American as it gets. If you chastise them for doing it, then you are chastising the American Way of life.

There is a fine line between gouging and making a buck...if I thought I could get $100 for something someone else was selling for $80 I would do it...it is the American way.

We are not talking about a commodity here where gouging is a deliberate move by the market to move prices of a good (such as gas)to a price above what the market should be sustaining.
Gouging is raising the price on something you have to buy such as gas. While I think it is cruddy of CTD to do it, they are not moving a commodity. they are selling something that you don't need to carry on everyday life. They are selling at the point at which the current market is willing to pay, if I were them I would be doing the same dang thing.

Crumbling to social media. Pathetic. How many of those commenters actually would buy from CTD anyway?

I don't agree with their ways therefore choose to not give them my money.
This same ammo was $659.99 at 5a thus morning and $499 the day after the CT murders. Now look at it .....$899.97. ABSURD!!!!

Nah. Just thought the wording was ironic - and humorous. No offense intended.
Throttle back, turbo.

Throttle back, turbo. I never get offended. If someone takes something out of context and uses it to make something out of nothing it is their fault and not mine. Full throttle ahead, Turbo!

I hear Walmart quit selling AR's as well, and Academy is caving on mags.
