OP Hunter_812 Tracker H Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 687 Nolan TX	Checked cameras the day after I got home from school and found this guy dead. Bummed me out him being a young one but I guess it's part of it and was bound to happen at some point Im not sure if he died of stress from being there for a few days or if the buck that went to town on him killed him. Still had some nice deer but was just to bummed to care. Any guesses on the age of this guy?

Survival of the fittest - if he couldn't negotiate a fence, probably wasn't going to rise to be king of the brush. That's how I would justify on my place at least.

And hogs/ cows still wont get in Main reason they are so high is to keep horses out during the offseason. Horses will do a number to a feeder if they can get to it. I have a foot and a half cutdown on four out of 8 panels. They just like to go over the high spots.

Neighbors horses got on my lease last summer some time and putting a feeder back together after they got through it was a PITA. Deer get caught in fences all the time, fact of life with fences. Have seen dead ones in fences much shorter than that, stuff happens. That last buck is a good one. lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch
