Shot this lone boar one last Friday morning. First time to shoot one with my 223 reload. It broke its front shoulder so the pig went down, but it took another shot to the head with my 357 to finish it off. Thought the front wheels on my EZGO were going to come up while driving back to camp. Processor showed it weighed 155 after cleaning.

coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

What bullet in the 223?

If you roll your own I would give the 60 grain Nosler Partitions a try. I load them for my 223, brother busted a 200 lb hog and a nice doe with it about a week ago both one shot kills which is the norm for it.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Nice hog!
