thanks

for all you guys that would shoot him, would you rather shoot him now at mid to upper 130"s or give him another year and shoot him at 150"? i am not trying to be a wise guy, just asking. i know it is not a given that he will be there next year, but it is certain that if you shoot him now,he will never get any better. here is a nice 10 pt. that my cousin shot off our place that we let walk till he was 4 1/2 , he scored 152"

The nine pt (topic buck) is older than 4.5 now. Looks 6.5 to me and at his peak. IMO. Nice 4.5 year old ten also.

Definately nice buck.

I think you made the right call letting him go a lil longer.

Also nice pictures. I have a whole new respect for pictures taken live in the blind now that I have started doing it.

Judging from the looks of his side and arse he has been given the run off by a larger buck. I hope your decision pays off by taking his larger buddy who pushes him around.

Well done. Even if he is killed this year, you gave him that much more time to spread those genes. Kudos!

Good looking deer, most don't have the discipline to pass a mature deer but he'll be better next year if he makes it!
