Not a big one but it was the only shot I got in 5 days of hunting in SW Kansas (south and west of Dodge). The deer population there has realy suffered from the drought and the numbers are down. I heard the hunting was better in the east but I don't have access to any land there other than public hunting.

Congrats on the buck! I can speak for the southeast side of the state and it has not been that great on this side of the state, partly due to the drought and blue tongue really hit Kansas and Missouri this year.
