Hunted Saturday morning in Bowie TX and hammerd them, got two Buffalo heads I am gonna bring to Avian arts to get mounted.

I think the [censored] and canvasback hens really set the whole thing off, playing nicely against the ringnecks and pintail hen. Just superb work. A masterpiece of voluntary restraint and sterling ethics.

Was that pintail a hybrid? It seems pretty light colored to me.

It was a fun day for sure, I have always called them Buffalo heads just as a nick name and i am sure there is a correct name for them but I have always used the nick names for birds. The ring neck was ingured and diving and I guess he poped up a little to close to one of the other hunters. The Pentail was very light colored but still had all the pintail fetures I have never seen one that light colored before. Thanks for looking and hope every one has a hunt like we had, just felt good to get out there and enjoy it.
