are those 4x4 skids ? if they are they are not adequate. nor the single top plate

Looks like he's adding the top plate in the last pic, across the front. Yep, I would use 6x6 skids. Maybe 4x6.

Yea I see what you are talking about this not his first rodeo an i trust him. I will do my inspection on the rest of it when i return. They have the same ones under that shed next to it that i bought.

hey everything looks good but trust me when i tell you those 4x4 beams are gonna make you mad later down the road, a 4x4 will bow like recurve bow all on its own much more with weight on it, judging from one pic it looks like you only have 3 footing on that 4x4 so your spanning rougly 10 feet on that 4x4, its gonna sag something unreal and your floor is going to follow. at the very least add one more footing between the footings there, to late to change them so add footings (blocks)

that's gonna be a nice large cave for ya.

Yea it is thinking about using cedar pickets sand it down real good. Then coat it a little darker stain, then coat that with polyurethane to the max.

man i hate to keep sounding condescending but....
without ceiling joists that roof system is very weak, its gonna sag, i see theres a temporary support on the ridge, when you pull that out its going to sag and push the outer walls out in the center. you can do an open rafter system but the ridge should have been a beam, so it wouldnt sag, i would recommend putting a pole in the center of the room to the ridge if its going to stay like this.
