We have been covered up with hogs on our place NE Taylor Co this Fall. Last week I caught them just right and did some eradication with the Rock River 6.8. When the smoke cleared 15 were laid out.

We went to Artesia NM on Wednesday. Too many lease hunters right now but we are going back later. I saw one set of prints that was 3 inches across the toes.

nice, if you want to try NV gear, let me know, i'm in Albuquerque, have two guns setup with NV and use a thermal for spotting, just needs to be on private land with permission for night hunting

Very nice! I shot one last year, only one.. had some tamales made before I realized they charged me like $12 a dozen for the tamales. They were really good... but not that good.. heh. I either need a new processor or need to learn to make my own dang tamales wink

Hunting is easy..it's getting permission from your wife that is tough.

That's some fine shooting there!!!

My best was 8 out of one group. They had one hole to get through in a net wire fence, I drop a big sow right in that hole and the rest ran around confused til they got picked off.

that give me an idea. Hog panel fence around a feeder with a steel plate target to shoot to drop a door down. Wait for all the hogs you want to get in, shoot the plate, door drops, eradicate.

Just doing it for fun now.

I call 'em smaller pigs "purse pig". I am geezer and can't handle big pigs. I like them when I can pig tie their legs and carry them out like a lady's purse. I carry a trash bag to put 'em in

Pigs have been scare since the slaughter. Saw a few fresh tracks this morning in my wheat. They are a little gun shy right now. Have one big herd coming thru around midnight. Need an ATN Gen 3 on the 6.8.
