18,500 yards you don't want to know the details. Are you military?

Funny how all these shots are 450 or 350, amazing the critters don't stand at 453yds or 357, They always are at an even number. I just round mine to the nearest hunnerd now I get it

Deer-408 yards Hogs-multiple between 500 and 600 yards(javelina too).
Several years ago I missed a 'yote by 3 feet at 1200 yards. Didn't allow for enough windage.

Why not 451 or 453 not picking you out just seems weird all these long shots are even, most are guesses I assume. Range finders seldom Read exact even numbers. Just sayin...

All of mine are confirmed by rangefinder prior to the shot. I dial up elevation on the scope and hold dead on.
I also mark distances out from my stand. I hang surveyor's tape along the sides of the senderos at 100, 200, 300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 yards. That way if I don't have time to get an exact range I can still dial up to the nearest 50 yards. This method has worked very well for me.
Typically I try to limit shots on whitetails to 300-350 yards. Pigs and Javi's are fair game regardless of distance. Yotes too.

30.06 @ 313 yds. Absolutely zero wind or I would have never taken the shot. I new the ballistics, but am not good enough to account for wind.

I just lie Truth shall set you free. I use a rangefinder but what do you do with the ones without arc technology when you range about 620 and shoot for 350? Which do you claim

Field Mouse, 1153 yards, while riding a unicycle naked, eating a Whopper with Bacon and Cheese and a chocolate shake.
Seriously, 1,058 yards +/-, Coyote, 308 168 grain Fed Fushion, laying on the roof of a Suburban.

I don't remember the exact range, visiting a friends lease as a doe hunter, feeder was laser ranged at 163 (? I think) got a good shot with my custom 6.5x55. Other than that >100 yards, hunting thick river bottoms. And 59 paces on a 175-200 lb boar with long slide 10mm Glock. 6" Lone Wolf barrel. I Pratice at 50 yards with it EVERY time I go to the range.
