I may give them a shot...i love the idea of mechanical tips, but i bought some last year and one of them i shot a pig with... Killed the pig but didnt pass thru cause it fell apart on entry... The other just brushed a tree branch and opened and shot wide

Grim Reaper Razor Tips..... up

I shot Rage 2 blades since they came out (with tremendous success!) but tested the GR's this summer on pigs and have now switched to them. So far on 4 released arrows they are simply devastating and the "Watch 'em drop" slogan is highly accurate.

Have killed two does with Grim Reapers so far. One went 12 yards the other almost 30. Both died in sight of my blind. I am hooked on them.

Nice. I've been thinking about using those but can't seem to put my rage down

Was able to put the 5th Grim Reaper Razor Tip down range this weekend and had the same results as the previous four. Complete pass through and extremely short recovery and blood trail....well actually no blood trailing required.

I will apologize up front for this picture as I only took it to text to my buddy who was on another part of the ranch and tell him I was done early (4:30 PM) and headed into the camp house to consume whiskey drinks and watch the Aggies kick-off. I had already field dressed and stuffed the poor gal in the drop basket of the four wheeler and besides, I usually don't take pics of slick heads but the pic shows the slug hole these heads make.

Any way the point is even with this pic you can see the entrance hole that the GR made and it practically knocked her down. She struggled to make it 15 yards.

That being said, my buddy is using the Rage 2 Blade Chisel Tip this year and is getting the same type results. The Chisel Tip gets superior penetration to the standard Rage head according to him. Hopefully I will let you know my opinion on them very soon as the next arrow coming off my rest will be tipped with one of the Chisel Tips. Hard not to knock another GR with the results I've seen but hey, whats the fun in 30 yard tracking jobs. smirk

Shot thier two blades two years ago, loved them. And the last two season have been shooting their 3 blades. I think they are GREAT the metal capture device is awesome and they shoot just like my field tips(at least up to 30 havn't played much past there) I really like them.

that said the reapers make me want to try them. Great pics great kills.
