Ok...
I am a hunter. And have no dog in this fight. I took my 6 year old girl and 60 year old father on a dove hunt opening week end with Wayne Outdoors. When I called I was tolded they were seeing lots of birds... (but its called hunting) exact words.
The first evening there were lots of birds. Shot lots of shells. Had a graet time. I could not hit anything but thats not the point. Next morning differant field things were slow. Last evening was another good hunt.
Now there were other hunters there to. A father and his son about my girls age and three boys (late teens early twentys).
Talking with the father and son they had a great time. Talking with the kids they were pissed about the morning hunt and were going to ask for money back.
My point? I am not sure. maybe each hunter is differant and what is a good hunt to you may be a bad hunt to some onr ealse. Or the other way around!

I don't know why they would be worried about the morning hunt if the afternoon hunt was good. We are only allowed one limit a day.

When doing your homework checking out an outfitter, it is a good idea to talk to references of both sucessriul hunters as well as unsucessful clients. Then make up your mind as to making the commitment or not.

Well wayne burned me on a pig hunt to...Hunted from Sun down to sun up....Didnt see one hog..Must have been about a year ago..Craneslayer87 has same cell number as Wayne. Still have the number in my cell..Stuck me in a blind made out of cattle panels and brush. No feeder...Just a blind near by mud hole.

Is it just me or does anyone else think a "guaranteed hunt" a bad idea? For the guide it's a dangerous phrase, and for a hunter it sounds like an easy game of kill, not really a hunt. I don't want a guarantee anything, I want a good opportunity and a good time.

Then a new guy, Riley, post up under the original Wayne Outdoors username?

Where there's smoke?

The person in the 4th picture, first guy on the left sure does look like Robert Stuart. I might be wrong, but they have a stong resemblance to one another.

And guaranteed is guaranteed. If you, as an outfitter, are going to use that word, you better make sure your client gets an animal, or be ready to get called out.

I hate dishonest people.

I would definitely stay away from this guy. I booked a goose and crane hunt with him last year. The night before we were supposed to hunt Wayne called and said he had lost all his land to another outfitter and wouldn't be able to get us on birds anywhere. That was my first goose hunt that was nearly ruined. I was not out any money which was good. The guys at Ranger Creek Goose were able to put us on a great hunt on short notice. I chalk it up as experience and like many things, you get what you pay for.

People want guaranteed then want fair chase too. It's one or the other, there's not a lot of guarantee in a true fair chase situation.

Guarantee means guarantee.
Thats on the outfitter/guide.
Dont offer it if you cant back it up.
That means there is none of this "thats why its called hunting and not called killing".
