Thinking of switching from Eukenuba to Loyall. Probably going with the 31/20. Feeding a lab that works about 4 to 5 times a week. Eukenuba is getting too pricey for me. Any feedback is appreciated.

My dog did not do well long term on Purina Pro Plan, but a lot of people have good success with it. Blue Wilderness was great for us for a long time but we ended changing to Blue Buffalo due to blood tests indicating my older dog was getting too much protien. We also used Taste of the Wild for a time, but it was no longer carried by the places we shop, so went back to buffalo. Look into Purina Pro Plan, and my three favorites Blue Buffalo, Blue Wilderness, and Taste of the Wild. A good site for comparing ingredients and some with reviews. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog-food-index-b.htmlhttp://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/

Fed Loyall for years and liked it. Lost my dealer and switched to Sportsmans Pride Performance. Would go back if I could. Dogs did well with less clean up. DO NOT over feed with the hot 31/20 or you will have a heavy lab.

I have fed it since I got my DD and no problems. They carry it at most Tractor Supply stores. If you compare to UK it is very close but much less in cost.

I feed Loyall but prefer ProPlan, it's just too expensive Loyall is ok and my dogs do well on it, but it's no ProPlan.

Thanks for the responses. Going to give it a try. My local feed store carries it which is even more convenient for me.

I have fed everything including Loyall and dogs did well on it. I am currently feeding Black Gold Performance Blend 26-18 and dogs have never looked better. Slick haircoats, very little waste and dogs don't overheat. To my knowledge, the owners of Black Gold are the only folks that genuinely hunt dogs and actively support hunting. Adios, Gary
