...before the split.

The perfect limit IMO.

A lot of green.

The pair of Hoodies, in the middle, my wife took

Notice the banded Ringer on the bottom right, also my wife's.

Strange bird I mistook for a pintail. Maybe a hybrid, maybe a park duck. I'm not sure.

More Ducks...

You must hunt with a large group. That's a bunch of cans. I really don't see the need kill that many can hens.

Whats wrong with it??? Law says you can shoot a hen Can. Count his ducks, he had the right number of ducks. And maybe he is guiding, a sport doesnt know a hen from a drake or a Can from a Jack.

Good shoot if you ask me.

Show us your piles of all drakes.

Thanks everyone! I've been bored during the split and thought I'd share some pictures. Hopefully the second half will have some better weather and some rain.

Known Hunter,
We do some guided hunts we donate to Delta and DU. I also hunt with friends an family. I personally try to shoot drakes but on slow days or with inexperienced hunters it's difficult. There's a couple hundred ducks pictured above and 5 can hens, if that bothers you, you don't have enough other stuff to worry about. All of our limits are legal per the state of Texas, and that is my only concern.
