I'm doing a photo shoot for someone and I need to know if anyone has seen any Pintails in any city parks around DFW. I'd do this in "the wild" but for this shoot I need some close up birds. Let me know if any of y'all have seen any around in the past few weeks.

Thanks

Saw a group of Pins at Trinity River Park in Fort Worth off West 7th a couple weeks ago! I always see photographers doing photo shoots out there.

I know of some widgeons and some pintails I saw a year ago in Richardon. I do not know if there are any now but that may be a good place to look. They are community ponds called west lake and east lake

There is a boat load of ducks in Plano. Look at the creek on Preston right next to Children's Medical.

Cheers to Family, Friends and Ducks

Greenbriar Park in south Fort Worth will hold pintails until Texas Wildlife turns the trout loose. After that only spoonies remain. These ducks get used to people pretty quick so big glass isn't a necessity. A 200mm lens should fill the frame using a camera with zero crop factor. With a 400 or 600 you could shoot from your car.
