Do you like it or not? Anyone not like the one they have/had?

Not an XL, but I have a stainless XS7 in .308 that I'm happy with.
The cheap lightweight plastic stock is not the greatest, but that is true of most synthetic stocked rifles at this price point. Mine will eventually wear a Boyd's laminate stock.

I had an XS7 I bought as a plain jane truck gun. It turned out to be a lot more than what I was expecting. It wasn't fancy but they put the money where it counted. I'm not sure there is a rifle out there that can beat it on a criteria of accuracy + trigger / price.

I own 3 of them, and its one of the few things in life where I actually thought I got more than I paid for! I have read above some that weren't great but most are happy with them.

I've been wanting one badly since I passed up a clearance sale on them at Academy three years or so ago. Been kicking myself ever since. Heck of an entry level price point gun.

Boom!

Got a youth model in 7-08 for my son. It shoots really well, especially for the money.

Ive got one in .243 caliber and have used it for deer hunting in both 2011 and 2012. I consider it to be a well made and accurate rifle. That said, I also have a Ruger American in 30.06 and honestly believe it is the best rifle I have ever owned or used, and that includes some high end Remingtons and Savages.

Yep if Ruger ever expands their cartridge selection I will get one, I'd like a .260. Prob won't happen though.

Great little rifles. I think they are the Glock of the rifle market. Nothing fancy, but they work!

I go to Bone Daddy's for the burgers....yeah, that's why.

Go for it. I don't think you'll regret it at all.

You can only have too much ammo if you are on fire or swimming....

Except that Glock's are over priced for what they are.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
