Just got into position. Last weekend for mulies. I am hopeful. Some big ones have been seen on the farm the past couple of days prompting to make the long drive for one opportunity before season closes on Sunday.

4 more does trailed in. Stayed for a while, then everybody headed across the cotton field behind me. This was the group the big boy was supposed to be with. Maybe he'll be along next.

Maybe a shooter at the far end of pasture about 700 yards. Hope he comes this way for a better look. But I can see antlers at this distance sticking above the brush.

Four young mulie does walked through. Pretty slow so far. Not a single whitetail and usually I see a lot of does at least.

Wind is howling in off the prairie from the SW. Setup in a new area, spring feed creek down in a draw where the wind isn't so bad. Area looks good, gonna take a nap and hope something moves through later this afternoon.

Not a animal seen. Did see some awesome gadwalls and wood ducks.
Oh well, last chance in the morning.
Third year trying for mulies, still a virgin.

A few mulies this morning, but no shooters. I guess I have to wait til next year. Think I will try hunting with mulie mike next year. I have a feeling the farms I've been hunting have been shot out of good bucks.
