Anyone seeing any good deer in Palo Pinto Co. So far this season?
We hunt between Graham and Graford.

Lots of acorns this year.

seen several posts about the unusual amount of Turkey we're seeing more of them on our cameras.

I dont hunt that far north but, you're right, lots of acorns. Deer are focused on those right now. However within the next few weeks we should see a lot of buck movement, due to the rut.

Your right, tons of Turkey. I hunt just off 254 and 281, and the deer have been really nocturnal. hopefully they will get active during the day soon.

Deer been on the acorns. We own 500 acres off 16 and the retards next door come from Dallas and they lease. They are always there opening weekend and we never see deer when they are in. I'll be looking forward to the normal 830 pistol shooting in there deer camp and the driving their bronco around all day long. People from the city don't get it.

We're seeing some deer in the daylight but a little less than we usually see. The pigs come and go. We haven't seen a turkey in a few years, they stay down by the river.

We are going out this weekend. Planning on staying in the blind all day long, hope we see something. So far only 1 person at our place has gotten a deer. That was a doe opening weekend.
We saw lots of turkeys & bagged a few. Ate mine for Thanksgiving.

That would be awesome to see. Our game camera got vandalized & destroyed last season & we haven't replaced. I just hope to see something. We are in Graford. Need some more meat in the freezer. I had to buy some from the grocery store the other day & that did not make me happy.

Nice deer. Anyone been out since fall finally came through this week? I was unable to go hunting last weekend since my husband & daughter were in a car wreck. Heading out early Sat morning, hoping to see some action.
