My son and I took out Thanksgiving weekend to put some meat in the freezer. We were after some pigs that had frequented one feeder. We got setup in the blind Thursday evening and two doe stepped out. Unfortunately they were on the wrong side of the blind and we got busted trying to switch seats. Fast forward to Friday morning. Right after the feeder went off four doe stepped out. It took a while to get them split up where he could get a clean shot. When he did it was lights out. Made a perfect shot and she was DRT.

After the shot, we could see that she wasn't going anywhere I told him we should wait and see if he pigs show up. About ten minutes go by this big guy stepped out. Took me about 2 seconds to get him in position and he took the shot. I wasn't sure if it was a good shot or not. I told him we needed to wait a bit before we got down. However, I couldn't stand it. We got down and started tracking, Found blood immediately. Turned out it was another perfect shot. He didn't go 30 yards. Never did get a pig, but it was a perfect hunt none the less!!!

Congrats to the young man. Don't worry about the pigs, venison is better than pork any day!

I agree but that's what he wanted to shoot at the time and I needed some pork to make sausage with. I think he could care less about pigs now.
