The first buck I shot at 550 yards here in wise county on Monday. The second one I shot in montague county this afternoon at 300 yards. They both dropped I am shooting a 115 grain ballistic silver tip from a 25-06.

I have shot long distance for a while now I shot my audad at 504 yards 5 years ago you just have to know your trajectory and cross wind nothing to it.

It also helps to reload your ammo and find the perfect combination for your gun.

Wow..congrats you lucky dog you. Good looking bucks. Seeing posts like this makes me a little discouraged. All season long I have only had 1 shot at a doe, other than that nada, and you get 2 bucks in 1 week.
STOP KILLING ALL OF THE LIVESTOCK.

So at 550 yards what were you aiming at in pic 1? Was he facing you or sideways to you?

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

He has quartering towards me and the hole is just in front of the shoulder. I have a Leupold scope. The only scopes I will use.

but u got a couple of very nice bucks, before everyone starts hittin up mr. redenbacher lets just leave it at that.
