I saw some decent deals out there but I dont guess I have ever thought about it til now but are there certain hours you can buy guns or is it good to go at any time the stores are open?

As far as I know it's any time there open but I could be wrong. They do have to make a phone call for background if you don't have a chl so it could be determined by that.
No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

thats what I am wondering. I am considering picking up something before work friday but if I cant get in and out early that ruins that idea.

The best time to try to by a new gun would be around 7:30PM on Christmas Eve. Good luck.

Ya agreed it never takes that long either way I have a CHL but when my wife bought one for our daughter in law it took her about 15 minutes.

I've worked at Academy Sport and Outdoors and normally takers 15-20 minutes longest was 2 hours. Depends on the other person on the other line that checks your background. I agree, CHL holders makes the sale of firearms faster since it bypass the background check.
