I went this past October & was successful, but it was a one-time opportunity for me so unfortunately don't have any contacts for next season. I did get a cow decoy from Cabela's & it worked great! Best of luck.

How does that work? Did you just call up landowners on that list and offer to buy a tag off of them?

Pretty much...but if you watch the thf outfitter sections some pretty good last minute deals so up every year..
