Looks like it has something sticking out of it's chest also. and maybe a little blood there also. Or do I just imagine that I see something?

The one sticking out of his chest is definitely a stick of some sort, it looks like blood and matted fur around it. Unsure about the one at his head. Slow shutter speed?

Just another thought, could it be broken antler tips for some reason? Buck breeding a doe and another one attacks them both?

With only one antler....he could've stuck himself! Could have not cleared over a fence and landed wrong!
