I always carry at the lease. You can say what you want maybe I'm just trying to look cool but since I hunt alone I don't think that's the case. I carry for peace of mind. If I'm walking through the woods alone in the dark and it makes me feel better than I'm darn sure going to wear mine.

I carry mine for the simple fact, I have a CCL and I can, plus I have light on it in case something comes out of woods, and I can see what it is!

I carry a Ruger .44 Super Blackhawk to the blind with me because my feeder is 60 yards away. it is a chip shot for that pistol to kill something so I always take it along for a more sporting challenge if the need arises. Last year it kinda screwed me though. was shooting for a pigs head and ended up hitting a strand of barbed wire right where I was aiming so I screwed the pooch on that deal!!

I just carry owb. I plan to get a good drop holster because when I'm scouting I use a backpack. The owb holster gets in the way of the waist strap on my pack.

I have handgun hunted with revolvers but much prefer to carry a 1911.
Being that I use one in competition I am considerably faster putting an accurate shot on target with one. I also might want to pop a deer or pig outof the blind when one is close.

My dad never carried one hunting, an old Sako 22-250 and a Buck knife was all he ever took hunting...

I used to when I hunted in South TX, Freer for pigs. Carried a 357 mag. I do not carry it up here on the ranch. Don't see no need for it.

I carry a 6" Glock G20 because 95% of the time that is what I hunt with. I usually have my 2" 44 special in a back holester with snake shot.

If I carry a rifle I carry my field pistol. either the 44 special or my Sig SAS DAK (45 ACP). Sig shoots snake shot well. carry extra mag on weak side with Hornady 230 HP. Work great for the small pigs I hunt.

I carry a XD 45 tactical with me at all times on my ranch. Have a steady flow of wetbacks going through there along with big hogs and testy bovines

Depends on what and where I'm hunting and how I'm hunting. Big game in a blind that I dont have to walk forever too I have my 500 S&W just in case an elephant comes by. Sneaking thru the woods 45ACP or 10MM under my left arm. Bird hunting hardly ever.

I forgot 1 time, needed it, so every time I go out I carry.

I carry my drop holsters with either my 44 revolver/45 xd when I am on the ranch looks cool. LOL It's better to have and not have guys lesson learned.
