Went to the customer appreciation night at Cabela's tonight and bought a 3/4 hp commercial grinder. Saved $113 or 26% on it. The wife and I are both real happy. We will grind about 4 deer and possibly 2 to 4 hogs per year. Im really happy with it. Dosent have a reverse, but I dont think I will need it.

I love my cabelas grinder. It is a 1.5 hp. I just got through grinding a whole deer in 3 minutes and 15 seconds. I then had to run it through the second time through the smaller plate which took 5 minutes.

Dang, I gotta get me one. I wish I would have known about this Cust Apprec event as I would have gotten one.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Good for you!! You'll love it.
Stock up on blades. That seems to be the part I change most.

Bought one last year and it works great. Had a smaller one for years and was always having to stop and clean out. Not with this one, you better have all your meat ready to go through cause it will grind as fast as you can feed it.
