I just got it the first of this year but I've grown very fond of my Remi 700 CDL in 264 win mag with a 26" fluted barrel topped with a Leupold 4.5-14x50 VXL.

Remington 600 Mohawk in .308 Definitely not the nicest gun in my safe, but the most used and trusted

My favorite for alot of reason's is a gun i inherited from my Uncle.. Its a pre 1950 open sight 30-30... Killed lots of deer with that gun, always feel like my uncle is tagging along in spirit when i carry his gun....

My favorite depends on what I am shooting and how far. If I hunt in brush, I opt for a carbine like the Saiga in 7.62x39. or an AR. If I am shooting mountain terrain then I choose a Steyr in 06 or a browning varmint in 308. Running deer in open country requires a European stock on a semi auto in 308. Your question is kind of like asking a golfer what club he prefers. His answer will be...it depends.

Ruger M77 (Tang-safety) in 7mm-08. This year, I hope to put a doe down with my Mosin-Nagant with the iron sights.
If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

I got a new FNAR. Pretty nice rig. I post some pics as soon as I get i put back together. Broke it down to clean. Take a bleeding genius to break it down and put it back together.
It is the Match model. I like shooting the rifle. Cleaning it is a pain.
Rusty Texas, I luv u

I bought the new Ruger "American" rifle earlier this year(30.06), and I am thoroughly impressed with the rifle. Its performance belies its relatively inexpensive price. It has features that until recently were found only on much more expensive rifles (adjustable trigger, bedded barrel, etc) and it is awesomely accurate. I like it so much that I sold my Weatherby Vanguard, and my Remington 700 ADL is now my back-up rifle. (I do miss my Weatherby, though!)

Good ole Rem 700 ADL 7mm mag. Many a deer, pig, turkey, bobcat and yotes have met there match.
I don't smoke ,so I can't say but I highly doubt it. I do know a loud fart works! I think they like the smell plus I guess they think it's a buck grunt. _________________________

A good old Remington 600 in 308 my Dad gave me many years ago. I have many other rifles but that one will always be #1

Been shooting a savage 270 that I put together with a 26" stainless barrel for the last 5-6 yrs. It's a shooter. I pulled my cut down (youth) stocked 788 22-250 out the other day to check sight in and get ready for the boys to shoot. I grew up hunting my uncles MLD ranch and killed many, many deer with that old 22-250. It has been a safe queen for 10 yrs but was my only rifle for the previous 15 yrs. I may shoot a doe with it this year. I guess thats my favorite rifle for just about everything. I very rarely shoot a buck and wont use the 22-250 for that since I now have options.

For me it's which ever one I happen to be holding at the time!
I am sorta fond of my Old Savage 99 in .308 followed closely by a Marlin 336 in 35Rem. I do my part & they do their part.

I'll vote for any old bolt action .30-06. For some reason, I don't love the semi auto 742 we have.
