Sittin in the tripod bow hunting. Look to my left in what is really covered woods and see what looks like may be a hog can't really tell though. Walking down a fence line when it gets to a little opening I see that it is either a bobcat or yote still can't determine at this point. I do notice it's carry a fresh piece of meat though. Never gets within bow range. So now I'm angry that I don't get a shot and that it could be a deer. Should I get out and go check to see what it was around the area it came from? I know it could be just a squirrel rabbit or coon, but could be wounded deer?

Sit tight and see what else shows up.

that's up to you. Never know what you stumble across. Still early though. If you are looking for a big buck I would remain in my tripod and find out about that mysterious critter later. If there is blood you can trail it.

If its dead, it'll be there when you get down.

The more you go wandering around your hunting area the less you're going to see. Sit tight, be patient and get a good pair of binoculars to see at distance.

I've learned to never push or pressure game. The chances of you making a successful stalk on a game animal are slim (at least mine are on a small tract).
