UPDATE

Talked to the neighbor and they shot the big 9. I started lookin at the pictures again and realized one was a 9 and then i had another of what i thought was the same deer but it was an 8.

Anyway, he shot them both.
Only pictures ive been getting and the only deer ive been seeing is a young 6 and a very young 4...

He shot them both on opening day. They both were around 3 1/2. No wonder ARs are becoming more popular

I remember a saying out in East Texas when we used to hunt out there.. The guys in camp would say brown is down.. Not really the best management program..

Some of those are questionable. 1 and 3 would give some pucker.

Its fine. I hate it too but they could have gotten a few years older, bred that many more does, and gotten bigger to boot.

Ill just go to my other spot. Ive only shot 2 deer in my life. A spike in west texas that weighed right at 200lbs and i shot another spike last year. Im always too patient and let the big deer walk so i could see the finished product eventually, but they never make it!
