This was forwarded to me by, Lucy, we will call her Lucy. Was on a local residents FB page. I have no idea who took the pic, but a general "idea" of were the pic was taken. Was stated that it was on the neighboring property and hung around long enough to snap a pic then it ran off. What does the THF think?  Oh, and dont shoot the messenger

Normal colored mountain lion shaded. Notice the tree trunk in the backround looks black also. Eyes play tricks on people.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

How come the shade only starts where the cat is standing. Also the shade follows the contour of the body with light underneath it.
I am not a believer for the most part but I don't think that is just shade.

Agree with Navo, bobcat. But I have never seen one stalking a fence line hunters shadow like that.
