....I don't know what to do. This is (1)the coldest day of the year, (2)the moon is at 1%, (3)most of the acorns are gone and (4)the rut seems to either be on or just a few days out. I'm heading out for a few hours and delaying going into work until after 9. I hope I dress warm enough.

Good luck. I have 45 with a light wind out right now and walking out the door. Rut is starting and I am ready. Gonna do some rattling.

Nice and quiet....to quiet in fact. Maybe that black panther DOES have everything slowed down. I can hear movement just inside my line of sight and in the tree line but nothing has produced. I've got an hour and a half left. Just thankful for what I've got.

Saw a buck moving in the woods and still hasn't shown himself. Heard several others as well but nothing to put my scope on. Only got thirty more minutes. With me luck.

Nothing happened for me:( I did discover my neighbor is hunting my feeder and my sister in law's boyfriend shot a doe....of which I had to instruct him how to gut it.
