Slept out under the stars Friday night on a cot on the north side of a thicket for wind block. Was a little loud due to the wind, but what a beautiful star lit sky. Woke up to the big dipper overhead. Been a while since I had slept outside, but really enjoyed it.

Saw a big boar from the stand headed right for the thicket where I slept. Should've hunted from the cot. smile

Almost went after him, but I was about 700 yards away in a 16' tower stand & it would have taken too long.

Sharing a couple more pics:
Yearling buck...
An old log shed. Would like to know the history of this structure. Would take a lot of mud to plug up the space between the logs.............

Thanks, been looking for something small thats zooms well. Seems like technology moves so fast the 300.00-400.00 camera's coming out today are as good or better than the 1000.00 camera's from a year or 2 ago.

Really nice pics!

750 yards that was all? Man you should of got off your backside and nailed him, that would have been way cool!!

Video capability & quality of this camera is outstanding and one of the major reasons why I bought this model.

Hey Stub,
I agree it would have been really cool to climb down & go after the boar, but I was watching over a dozen does & young bucks and thought an older buck might come bird doggin' by any minute. That boar has been around for a while. I'll get him later.
