I didnt know you could make burnt ends. I thought burnt ends just happened. I usually pull them off as it is smoking as a appetizer with my beer as it is still smoking. I have learned that they regenerate themselves. Just to keep them from getting out of control, I perform a burntendectomy every now and then during the smoking process.
Funny thing about getting older: Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to see through people's BS gets much better.

I had to look up 'burnt ends'. They never make it off the grill at my place. I'll bet that burnt ends would make for good seasoning in a pot of beans.
