my .02 is any that helps promote the sport of hunting.. My wife is a new hunter and loves the idea of a show with just woman doing the hunting.. I think it could help bring more woman to the sport of hunting. Lord knows we need all the allies we can get in this day and time..

Take a female wounded veteran hunting.

bikini hunting....seriuously any type of hunting with women is great. there isnt enough of it out there adn there are a lot of women who hunt and want to get into it more and more each year. I think maybe a show teaching young girls/woman the basics etc...

i would suggest a few shows on "real life paid hunts"
then take the audience around to a few different types of places for paid hunts. places like DB hunting ranch, Koons Canyon, YO ranch, 777 ranch, open range west texas with Mulie Mike, smaller places like thompson temple or wildlife ranch where you shoot the color tag you want to pay for.etc... (ram hunts)

really give them an up close view of what those different hunts are like.
might also broaden some perspectives around here that a hunt can be great whether on a 200000 acre part of the king ranch or a 200 acre pen, so long as you have the right expectations going in.
and i would have the hunter for each of those shows be relevant to the type of hunt. so when you film a show at thompson temple it would be a kid or first time hunter taking the shot. if you went to 777 or YO where it costs more, then make the hunter a guy/gal who could pay for a hunt like that. in other words tailor the hunt to who would actually go on one.

i bet they would come out awesome.... you could call it the hunts across texas series....

whatever type of show you do, cut out the gimmicks and over the top scenarios like we see on alot of shows.

Deer and hog hunting is fun, but its not "XTREME" like so many shows today are touting.

Also, not saying ya'll are doing it, but don't try and "sell sex". to me, that is a turn off. I liked watching cindy garrison on tv, she was attractive, but i thought the show had good content. Seeing women in tank tops bowhunting might be what some folks are into, but it comes off cheap, at least to me.

How bout this doggey, since military/veterans wives get little to no recognition take a few of them on a hunting trip. They have it harder than us military/veteran men do imho. If you want to do that, my wife say give her a call she will hunt with ya. She ain't no prissy girl neither. She's a down home country gal.

White tails are boring and some dude telling me about the brand X crap he used to kill it is worse. Anything different spear hogs, stalk exotics, bow hunt ducks, just something different.

I'd like to see a woman wrestle a bear.

For televised hunts, I like to see more action. And there's only so much true action on any given deer hunt. Hours and hours of waiting, followed by a few seconds, maybe a couple of minutes if you're lucky, of actual footage of the deer, the shot, and the recovery. The best deer hunting shows are the ones where they're rattling or calling and getting a lot of responses.

You might try upland hunting for a change. Watching the dogs work is always cool and hopefully there will be quite a bit of shooting. Dove hunting is also interesting, but it can be a heck of a challenge to film. Varmint calling can also be exciting to watch if you can get into an area with lots of action.

Couldn't agree more.. What about some hunts on public land? A lot of people can't ever afford to go on package hunts. So seeing some hunts on public land would be interesting, regardless if you took an animal or not.

+1 on the upland hunting. Nothing like good dog work. A duck hunting episode might be cool and a change of pace. Watching big game hunts are a little like watch paint dry, sort of relaxing at first, but them just the samething over and over.

gonna put my .02 in here and say that I love watching pig hunting shows, different ways, bow, crossbow, shotgun/buck shot, rifle.... lots of action with pigs
