I shot a large Hill Country doe this morning and had hoped to recover the projectile as she was looking dead at me at about 130 yds or so..I hit her ctr in the neck at about shouler level
but when I cleaned her the bullet had exited out her left side
by her backstrap on the ribs..about 15 to 20 inches and not bad
tissue damage..and very small entrance wound and exit wound..
but DRT..never moved..DD

I killed 3 hogs the other morning with them. Earholed one and hit the one behind him and dropped them both.

Only one I ever recovered from game was a 223 55 grain. It was mushroomed perfectly, but I want a pass through.

I have shot the TSX and the TTSX out of a 22-250, 223, 7mm Rem Mag, and a 308 for the past 5 years and I have only recovered 1 bullet. The 1 I recoved was from the 7 mag on a long shot at a doe facing me, bullet still went the full length of the deer and was recoved on the hide of the hind queater.

I shot my first doe w/the 150grain TTSX first day of season. She
was about 135yds and looking straight at me..Shot hit the very ctr. of her throat went thru her spinal column and exited about 20 inches down between her backstraps..no meat or tissue damage.
She was DRT..never even moved...which is how I like them, not in it to torture or blow them up..haven't been mad at them for some
time..Still haven't recovered a projectile from any of my rifles
and Barnes..but I had a bunch of Ballistic Tip Noslers in plastic
bags..just the jackets because the came apart..that's why I quit using them..DD
