I hunt on 10 acres right at the outskirts of a small town in Clay county. There is land around those 10 acres so I'm worried I may not see this buck next year... would you take him if placed in my shoes?



Also, second picture shows a very mature buck with bad antlers... any way around the AR to put this guy down?

IF that older deer is a spike on 1 side, I think that makes him legal. Tough to tell from that picture.

Picture #1, I wouldn't, IMO he looks young with potential.
If you want to shoot him do it.

Picture #2, Unless he's unbranched on one side or 13"+ wide, No.
Looks 4 ~ 5 years old to me.

Based on the age of the one buck I would say there is not to much hunting pressure if he made it to that age unless he has really bad genetics and looked like that the last few years. Hard call on what to shoot and when without much history of what has happened on this place and the others around you.
