Maybe some people just don't like them.. regardless of venomous or not... So because a person doesn't like something it's ok to kill it... Other animals do it as well. I've seen horses and mules go out of there way to stomp a snake. If you love snakes, don't kill them...

. It's just ignorant to kill something because you just don't like it . Pretty stupid . I understand killing a venomous snake or spider or a invasive creature . But I only kill things non venomous that I can eat . I don't care for people that kill something just to kill something . That's why I says it's ignorant and immature .

But I only kill things non venomous that I can eat . I don't care for people that kill something just to kill something . That's why I says it's ignorant and immature . For some folks it's just like killing a big buck for the rack only-it's a thrill to them. Out in the open, I leave most non-venomous snakes alone. If they're around the house/barn, I will usually kill them or relocate them due to having an elderly FIL that can't tell the diffference, and I don't want him spooked into having a heart attack or risking a fall over a snake. I think they're pretty cool for the most part, even rattlers. I'm still going to kill every rattler I see, though.
