25-06 works on an oryx. Shot this beast at 280 yards after a long day of hiking and chasing. This was on a part of the missile range where the oryx population is not that good, so was real happy to find this one yesterday afternoon.

This would be by far the coolest hunt to do in NM. Hmm....I don't know about that. I think a rifle hunt for Persian Ibex in the Florida Mountains would take that designation for me.
