 My opening weekend

Well, my son and I spend the weekend at the lease trying to bag a deer. No luck though. Nothing on Saturday morning but fog, rain (hard), thunder, lightning and hail on Saturday afternoon in a pop up blind. And Sunday morning we only had a small four pointer come out to play. We did however find out there was a deer in the area no one has seen. My camera captured him though...... Big 8RearviewNow we are just hoping he doesn't get killed before we can make it back to the lease.

Nice! Not sure where you are in East Texas, but that's a good one. I used to hunt in Nac. Didn't see many big ones where I was, but there are definitely some out there. Good luck!
