Dad's zeiss wouldn't come on paper this spring he called customer service and mentioned he wanted to pay to upgrade to target turrets, they sent him a new scope with turrets free of charge, excellent customer service.

A lemon can occasionally show up in even the best products. Box up the scope and send it to Zeiss. Their customer service is legendary for its responsiveness. Zeiss will likely send you a new scope pronto.

I should be ashamed for my trolling, low ball remark, but I am not. When you look at the used rifle market, there are lots of Tasco and BSA scopes mounted and for sale with used guns, especially older rifles.
