Forgot to mention, almost all of my camera pics still show the bucks being mostly nocturnal. Haven't seen any on the cameras past 9am or before 7pm. FYI

I am about halfway between the Colorado and San Saba. I have hunted there for the last 4 years. Lot of deer there. Not uncommon for us to see 10-20 deer each hunt. Bucks will be typical hill country deer. It depends on your lease's management practices. We have shot bucks in the 130's to 140's, but there is the potential for bigger bucks if you let them walk.

I'm about 9 miles North of Richland Springs about a mile and a half south of the river. We've been seeing a lot more Deer than the last 2 years that's for sure. There's a big pasture on both sides of FM 45 on the south side of the river that used to hold 100's of Deer all day long. Haven't seen them there in several years. My wife and I went by there last Sunday morning about 9:30 and there was more Deer there than we could count. It's looking like it's gonna be a great year. I'm hoping so anyway. Good Luck
